Acclaimed author Yiyun Li to deliver the 2017-18 Gifford Lecture on February 27, 2018

Acclaimed author Yiyun Li, who teaches creative writing at Princeton University, will deliver the 2017-18 Gifford Lecture on Tuesday, February 27, 6:00 pm in Sanders Auditorium.  A Q&A with the audience and book-signing will follow. This event is free and open to the public.

Yiyun Li is the author of four works of fiction, a children’s book, and, most recently, a memoir, Dear Friend, from My Life I Write to You in Your Life. A recipient of many awards including the PEN/Hemingway Award, Guardian First Book Award, and a MacArthur Foundation fellowship, Li was named by The New Yorker as one of the “20 under 40” fiction writers to watch. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Granta, The Best American Short Stories, and The O. Henry Prize Stories, and elsewhere.
